a child my mum would beat the hell out of me for using a glass cup to
drink tea no matter how thick the cup is. My mum is Yoruba.
Growing
up in Lagos and largely among yorubas you dare not serve tea in a small
cup. It would be regarded as an insult. Tea is served in large plastic
cups or big mugs.
Among the northerners this is not so. Above I’m having a northern styled tea 🍵
